Dr Daniel Ramp awarded Australian Academy of Science grant

THINKK is pleased to announce that Dr Daniel Ramp has been awarded the Inaugural W H Gladstones Population and Environment Fund grant from the Australian Academy of Science. The grant has been awarded for Dr Ramp’s project "Engagement of a growing Australian population with kangaroos – modelling for sustainable futures".

Dr Ramp is a member of the THINKK Research Advisory Committee at the University of Technology Sydney and a Senior Research Fellow of the Australian Wetlands and Rivers Centre at the University of New South Wales.

The grant in 2011 will be $12,000 and a renewed grant of $12,000 may be provided in 2012.
